Comparative and Exergetic Study of a Gas Turbine System with Inlet Air Cooling
The efficiency of the combined cycle is significantly influenced by the temperature, pressure and humidity of the ambient air. The aim of this study is to investigate the influence of the inlet air cooling system (fogging cooling system) on the gas turbine performance by energy and exergy analyses. Energy and exergy analysis was carried out for nine cases based on the operation data of a gas turbine. Performance parameters include fuel consumption, specific fuel consumption, thermal efficiency, net power output, exergetic efficiency and exergy destruction rates of the components for the cases. It is concluded that the net power output of the gas-turbine system increases at lower inlet air temperatures, and based on the mean values, exergetic efficiency and exergy destruction ratio were found as 37.35% and 33.02%, respectively
QuNetSim: A Software Framework for Quantum Networks
As quantum internet technologies develop, the need for simulation software
and education for quantum internet rises. QuNetSim aims to fill this need.
QuNetSim is a Python software framework that can be used to simulate quantum
networks up to the network layer. The goal of QuNetSim is to make it easier to
investigate and test quantum networking protocols over various quantum network
configurations and parameters. The framework incorporates many known quantum
network protocols so that users can quickly build simulations and beginners can
easily learn to implement their own quantum networking protocols.Comment: 11 pages, 6 figure
Some results on pseudosymmetric normal paracontact metric manifolds
In this article, the M-projective and Weyl curvature tensors on a normal paracontact metric manifold are discussed. For normal paracontact metric manifolds, pseudosymmetric cases are investigated and some interest-ing results are obtained. We show that a semisymmetric normal paracontact manifold is of constant sectional curvature. We also obtain that a pseudosym-metric normal paracontact metric manifold is an eta-Einstein manifold. Finally, we support our topic with an example
Near-field radiation from nano-particles and nano-antennas illuminated with a focused beam of light
The interaction of photons with metallic nanoparticles and nanoantennas yields large enhancement and tight localization of electromagnetic fields in the vicinity of nanoparticles. In the first part of this study, the interaction of a spherical nanoparticle with focused beams of various angular spectra is investigated. This study demonstrates that the focused light can be utilized to manipulate the near-field radiation around nanoparticles. In the second part of this study, the interaction between linearly and radially polarized focused light with prolate spheroidal nanoparticles and nano-antennas is investigated. Strong and tightly localized longitudinal components of a radially polarized focused beam can excite strong plasmon modes on elongated nanoparticles such as prolate spheroids. The effect of a focused beam on parameters such as the numerical aperture of a beam and the wavelength of incident light, as well as particle geometry and composition are also studied
Application-Based Coexistence of Different Waveforms on Non-orthogonal Multiple Access
The coexistence of different wireless communication systems such as LTE and
Wi-Fi by sharing the unlicensed band is well studied in the literature. In
these studies, various methods are proposed to support the coexistence of
systems, including listen-before-talk mechanism, joint user association and
resource allocation. However, in this study, the coexistence of different
waveform structures in the same resource elements are studied under the theory
of non-orthogonal multiple access. This study introduces a paradigm-shift on
NOMA towards the application-centric waveform coexistence. Throughout the
paper, the coexistence of different waveforms is explained with two specific
use cases, which are power-balanced NOMA and joint radar-sensing and
communication with NOMA. In addition, some of the previous works in the
literature regarding non-orthogonal waveform coexistence are reviewed. However,
the concept is not limited to these use cases. With the rapid development of
wireless technology, next-generation wireless systems are proposed to be
flexible and hybrid, having different kinds of capabilities such as sensing,
security, intelligence, control, and computing. Therefore, the concept of
different waveforms' coexistence to meet these concerns are becoming impressive
for researchers.Comment: Submitted to IEEE for possible publication. arXiv admin note: text

REVIEW OF FOOTBALL PLAYER TRANSFERS IN SPORT PAGES OF NEWSPAPERS
Our goal in our study entitled “Football Transportation: how is taking place in the sports pages of newspapers?” presented the news of the transfer of players in newspapers and the realization rate apprehended by comparing how many of the news written by the newspaper press are meant to perform ethical dimension evaluations. This research frequently used the content analysis of media method. In this study, a descriptive survey model aimed at describing the nature of the facts as they are used. It was analyzed using content analysis method. The news in the newspapers were screened between 1 July 2015 and August 31, 2015. The study analyzed the daily newspapers which are being published in Turkey. Press advertising agency regularly according to data published in daily newspapers has been identified as 46. Two newspapers from the right wing of the political spectrum; Turkey and time, using the rhetoric of the Republic and one day left, the liberal media group Hurriyet and Posta newspapers, sports newspapers and Fanatik newspapers as Fotomaç represented our study sample. In conclusion, according to the findings of the research we have achieved; 6-day transfer news newspaper sports pages, while the number of 304, 2 number of newspaper sports football transfer news 204, the total number is 508 8 newspaper's football transfer news. Transfer season in the transfer market newspapers have survived over the news for Besiktas, Fenerbahce, Galatasaray and Trabzonspor have seen their primary news. Article visualizations
Semi-symmetric almost c(α)-manifold on some curvature tensors
In this article, semi-symmetry of almost C (α)-manifold is investigated on some special curvature tensors. First, the behavior of the almost C (α)-manifold is investigated when the special curvature tensors discussed are flat. Then, for these special curvature tensors, the behavior of the manifold in the semi-symmetric condition is observed and for some special curvature ten-sors, important properties such as the semi-symmetric almost C (α)-manifold being Einstein and η−Einstein manifold are obtained
Rigidity results for submanifolds in generalized Sasakian space forms
In this article, generalized Saasakian space forms are discussed and invariant submanifolds of these space forms are examined. The curvature tensor chosen is of great importance when examining the characterization of a manifold. In this article, invariant submanifolds of generalized Sasakian space forms are characterized according to the W*0−curvature tensor and pseudoparallel submanifolds are investigated for these space forms
